Since the focus will be on your name, you will want to pick a font and color that stands out and will be memorable.

A pictorial mark is an icon or graphics-based logo. Some iconic pictorial mark logos that come to mind are Apple, Twitter, Nike, and Target, to name a few. The measure of success of your pictorial mark logo is when people correctly identify your logo with the company name. The biggest thing to consider when deciding to go with a pictorial mark is what image to choose.
